On Thursday, August 19, 2010 from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Universal Art Supplies would like to invite you to our new location to view the products we carry and enjoy the in house sales we will have going on. We look forward to seeing you and getting your feedback.
Refreshments and a draw will be held on the Grand Re-opening Day for anyone that purchases from now until then, a great basket of Art Supplies to be won.
Adult Art Classes are coming this fall
Illustration Course
Tuesdays at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm - $150.00 for a 6 week class
Ages 16+ (all supplies included)
This 6 week course is for people whom are interested in illustration and have a creative mind. As you learn the fundamentals of illustration, you will see your work come to life. John Binden will be the instructor for this course. He has been teaching since 1982 and is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art. He is a well respected artist who's art has appeared in museum exhibits as well as Disney's movie "Dinosaur", as well as 33 books. We are very excited to have him coming in to teach with us and this is an opportunity you don't want to pass up. Please call or drop in to register.
Watercolor Class
Wednesdays at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm - $150.00 for a 6 week class
Ages 16+ (supplies available for purchase at location)
This course is for beginners as well as experienced artists. Lorraine will be the teacher of this course, showing you techniques that will expand your watercolor painting abilities. Lorraine has been teaching art for many years and has also owned her own gallery in Hamilton. Please call or drop in to register.
Acrylic Painting
Thursdays at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm - $150.00 for a 6 week class
Ages 16+ (supplies available for purchase at location)
Come out on Thursday nights and enjoy learning and expanding your acrylic painting skills with Claire. Claire is a very outgoing lady who is experienced in acrylic, oil and watercolor painting. This is a great opportunity for beginners as well as experienced artists. Please call or drop in to register.
We will also accommodate your group if you want to do a night out with an artist.
Kids arts and crafts parties for birthdays and special occasions are available.
